If you lived here in Idaho you would realize that wolves are not the sweet darlings that you think they are. They truly are ferocious killers. Those of us who live in Idaho have seen first hand the cruelty that wolves are capable of. Imagine if you can, Elk herds with not one surviving calf. Nothing is safe, not even the lonely little coyotes or your family farm dog.
It is not wonder that even in the Bible we are warned to watch out for wolves in sheeps clothing, for they...do not spare the flock.
You are so incredibly misinformed about wolves it is sad. I have a 12 year old grey/timber wolf mix who lives in our house sleeps with the cats and the dog and is the most incredibly intelligent, loving and loyal animal I have ever known. We are her pack and she is so understanding of my 21 year old crippled cat you could imagine. She loves babies and is protective and loving.
Wolves provide a service in the wild. Not the dropped in hand raised packs that have been introduced into ID, WYO etc. These are not normal wolves. In a natural pack they cull out the sick, weak and injured. Without predation the elk and deer population would explode and so would disease. Talk to a wildlife biologist. Throughout history shows when predators are eliminated chaos ensues. First of all they kill to survive and protect their family unit....THEY DO NOT go after childfren, dogs, pets or coyotes. Coyotes by the way kill for sport and will attack humans. There has NEVER been an attack of a human by a healthy wolf throughout history. People have been programed by myth, fictional fairytails to make the wolf to fit the profile of the werewolf. Reality is far different. Wolves are curious, mate for life, will die if their mate dies, will not take another mate, and have a close knit family unit. The Alpha pair are the leaders and the rest babysit, raise the young and take care of the elderly. Thats more than you can say for humans! Who is the ferocious one? The mother who aborts her child, sends her elderly parents to nursing homes so they don't have to be underfoot, divorces and allows existing children to do as they please? AThat to me is viciousness! The wolf does what God intended it to do. Native Americans took orphaned cubs in and discovered what wonderful companions they were. Every dog breed began thousands iof years ago as wolves. I fear Pit bulls far more than wolves. I have camped in the mountains and have had a wolf sit on a hillside and watch the camp, not to attack but out of curiosity. I have awoken in the early hours to find wolf tracks outside the tent. Try reading the book "All The Loving Wolves" before you make ridiculous statements. The Bible passage you quoted had nothing to do with wolves. The point was beware of those who appear to be mild mannered but inside are evil! I love my wolf and she loves us and proves this daily. Don't make the mistake of believing fairytails told by ignorant people who fear what they do not know! |
